EEC Solar sponsor local Elite Fighting Gym

EEC Solar (one of EEC Home Improvements four divisions) is happy to announce we are now the proud National sponsors of Elite Gym in Southport, Merseyside.

The sponsorship programme will provide a monthly grant to the Elite Gym, who specialise in amateur and professional Muay Thai-Boxing, ABA-Boxing, Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts. The money will be used to help pay the significant costs in the annual activities of the Elite Gym including, team kits and gym memberships.

EEC Solar (EEC Home Improvements) will also sponsor the Elite Fighting Championships, a prestigious bi-yearly event held in Southport.

Elite Gym has two fighters fighting for world title fights this year. First Jake Barton at London’s 02 Arena on the 30^th March, Barton will take on a 4x World Kickboxing Champion. This will be televised on Sky Channel 219, and is a huge chance for Barton to impress. Barton made his amateur debut under the AKA Championships Organisation at 15yrs old against Jake Hughes of Bolton. He picked up his first victory to kick-start his career.

Kev Ward who will be competing at May’s Elite Fighting Championship, has a number of boxing achievements under his belt, such as Goldenbelt English Champion 78-81kg, WKA English Champion 79kg, Goldenbelt British Champion 75-78kg, WRSA k1 British Champion 78kg, Goldenbelt European Champion 75-78kg and GBH Hardcore World Champion 75-78kg.

There are many benefits of installing a Ground Source Heat Pump. A ground source heat pump works by absorbing energy from the ground via a series of pipes, which are laid under your garden. Heat is absorbed from the ground which is turned into fluid using a mix of water and anti freeze, then the system pumps the fluid into a heat exchanger, which in turn pushes heat into your home.

The length of the ground loop depends on the size of your home and the amount of heat you need. Longer loops can draw more heat from the ground, but need more space to be buried in. If space is limited, a vertical borehole can be drilled instead.
